Fluency & Stuttering Therapy in South Florida

Watching your child struggle to get words out can be heartbreaking. Our stuttering therapy helps children develop smooth, confident speech using gentle, research-backed approaches — without pressure or shame.

What It Is

Stuttering affects the flow of speech and can include repetitions ('b-b-ball'), prolongations ('ssssnake'), or blocks (getting stuck on a sound). It's common in young children — about 5% of all children go through a period of stuttering — but for some, it persists and can significantly impact confidence and communication.

Our fluency therapy uses a combination of direct and indirect approaches depending on your child's age and severity. For younger children, we focus on creating a supportive communication environment and teaching easy, relaxed speech. For older children, we work on fluency-enhancing techniques while building confidence and reducing communication anxiety.
